Can you believe the size of that ball!  It took an extra large yarn winder to get it all together.  There are about 800 yards on there too!  It’s not mine so I am not sure what is going to be knit out of it, but I think she is using it for a sweater.  Hope all goes well.  What’s the biggest ball of usable yarn you have seen spun?

I missed the knit group last week, so sorry there wasn’t a Weekly Funny! This week we talked about movies with cannibalism so here is Hannibal the Yarn Cannibal with his yarn roast and fiber salad!

The phrase that came up this week was “yarn balls.” Every knitter has ‘em, so here’s a picture of mine.

The funny topic this week at our Wednesday night Stitch-n-Bitch circled around the phrase “crotch fruit” (”kids” for those of you who don’t already know). We talked about who has ‘em, who wants ‘em, and who doesn’t care one way or another. I got home and thought it would be funny to take a pic of my crotch fruit to send to the group. Everyone in the group got such a kick out of it that I decided to try to come up with something new every week (hopefully, I can). So, without further adieu, here’s my crotch fruit.
