This bear was knit from a special book on hand knitting bears. I love the book and look forward to knitting more bears from it. The sizes range from very tiny to very large. I would urge you to get this book of you like knitting toys.
I whipped this pattern up using a bear’s head from an Interweave Knit’s magazine pattern and a simple dish cloth pattern in fingering weight for the body. I was a great gift for a baby shower. I would do it again, but use DK for the blanket instead.

This is hector the turtle is knit from remnants of my lucky green socks and hubbs vintage socks. I got the pattern from somewhere else, but tweaked it quite a bit to fit my liking. I hope you like it as much as I do. I was going to use him as a pin cushion, but that just seems wrong, so here he will sit.
