Lucky Green Socks

I am knitting these from the “Ribbed Slipper Socks” pattern I found on Ravelry.  I am using a sport weight yarn 100% wool from Jo-ann’s line.  Using a smaller yarn than the pattern calls for makes these socks form fitting very nicely.  I will definately use this pattern again.  You can easily use any needle method for traditional sock knitting that you choose.  I have been working a lot with the Magic Loop method, so that is what I will be using for these socks.  I was able to knit the whole sock in 2 days.  Had I knit more per day, I could have probably knit the sock in one day.  I will start the second sock tomorrow.

Both of these have been finished but I gave them to a friend.  I did not take a picture of them both finished, so hopefully she can take a pic of her wearing them and send it to me soon!  So when I get that pic I will post it.  I hope to make a turtle out of the leftover yarn, but I won’t get him finished for a while, or even started.

Finally got a pic of the socks.  And would you believe that she is having me weave in all the ends….for goodness sake, they are a free pair of socks!  LOL  Anywho, here’s the socks finished.
