The Top 10 Geekiest Yarn Creations on the Web

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

I admit it, I’m a serious nerd! I actually did a Google search on “knitted video games”. Who would do that? And what would would I have expected to find, anyway? Actually, I found exactly what I was looking for - go figure. This is so hilarious (Did I mention that I’m a nerd?).

I think I found something for Jen to do with that extra yarn she’s been wanting to use.

Knitted Atari Pitfall

Somebody actually made a full-fledged Atari 2600 and television and - of course - Pitfall! This game was one of the best of all time. There’s also a knitted Nintendo controller that doubles as a Nintendo DS case, a cozy for a USB thumb drive, and even an Armatron (I had one of those as a kid - Nerd? Yeah, I think I mentioned that).

Check out the rest of the stuff over at ThreadBanger. It might not be functional, but this stuff is geeky cool!
